MSU Finishes 12th at BYU

Tiffani Spring fired a finishing round 80 to finish tied for 37th with a three-round 242 to pace MSU at the BYU Dixie Classic on Tuesday. MSU finished 12th out of 13 teams.
Erica Leslie shot 244 (77-83-84, tied for 43rd), Kylie Anderson 254 (77-87-90, tied for 55th), Kristina Kurcinka 256 (83-88-85, tied for 57th), and Amanda Nielsen 269 (90-83-96, 66th) for MSU.
"We did some good things, but we need some work on the driving range and on course management," said MSU coach Brittany Basye. "We'll have one day of work before we head for Stanford."
The Bobcats play at Stanford on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
