Bobcats Finish 6th in Big Sky

Bobcat senior Tiffany Spring fired a closing round 74 to lead MSU to a sixth-place finish at the 2004 Big Sky Conference Golf Championships in Goodyear, AZ, on Wednesday.
Spring, MSU's leader all season, finished with a three-day total of 227, just missing all-conference honors. Spring finished tied for 11th, while the top 10 earn All-Big Sky.
Kylie Anderson also shot a 74, finished in 17th with a 229. Kristina Kurcinka was 24th with 239, while Amanda Nielson shot an 86 to finish 244, tied for 28th, and Erica Leslie finished tied for 34th with a 247.
"We showed pretty well toward the end of the tournament, but some bad holes today kept us from finishing higher," said MSU coach Brittany Basye. "Hopefully this will give us some momentum going into next year."
