MSU Golfers 8th After One Round

Tiffani Spring regained her stroke in the first round of the Big Sky Championships at Goodyear, Ariz., but it wasn't enough to lift the Bobcat golf team out of eighth place after the first of three rounds of play.
Spring fired a 78, as did Kylie Anderson. The two are tied for 18th. Kristina Kurcinka and Amanda Nielson each shot 81 and are tied for 32nd, while Erica Leslie shot an 84 and is tied for 36th.
Round two begins at 7:30 am Wednesday morning.
