Lee Earns National Academic Honor

Montana State senior Ariana Lee, from Lander, Wyo., earned national Academic All-Scholar honors from the Women's Intercollegiate Cross Country Coaches Association.
Lee qualified for the award by qualifying for the 2003 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships and by posting a grade point average of at least 3.20. Lee is a political science major with a 3.578 cumulative grade point average. She was the Female Track Athlete of the Meet in the past two Big Sky Indoor Track and Field Championships, and is a two-time all-academic team selection.
For the 10th consecutive year, MSU's women's 2003 cross country team earned national All-Academic honors, as well. The team's GPA was 3.230.
