Bobcat Men’s Tennis Team Loses Hard-Fought Decision to Boise State

Two of the singles match went three sets as Thomas Schoeck downed MSU’s No. 1 player Federico Ueltschi 3-6, 7-6, 12-10, while Tejeshwara Chigateri lost a 7-5, 3-6, 10-4 decision to Matias Silva at No. 3 singles.
“I was very pleased with our effort against Boise State,” said MSU men’s tennis coach Mike Phillips. “Boise State is an outstanding team and we could’ve easily gone 4-3 against them. The match certainly gives us a lot confidence and we’ll continue to build towards the Big Sky Championships in a couple of weeks.”
The Montana State women’s team dropped a 7-0 decision to Northern Arizona on Saturday.
The Bobcat men’s and women’s teams will host Sacramento State on Sunday at the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center. The women will begin play at 10 a.m., followed by the men at 2 p.m.
