Bobcat Men’s Tennis Team Defeats San Francisco; Women Fall to Matadors

MSU standout Federico Ueltschi won at No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-2 win over USF’s Romain Van Rillas. Ueltschi also teamed with Tejeshwara Chigateri, where the tandem won at No. 2 doubles.
The Bobcats opened the match claiming the doubles point, as the No. 3 doubles duo of Jake Berriochoa and Adam Stutts held on for a 9-8 victory. In singles action, MSU claimed the top four singles matches to earn the win.
The Montana State women’s team dropped a 5-1 decision to former Big Sky Conference foe Cal State Northridge. MSU’s lone win came at No. 5 singles, where freshman Anna Hockett posted a 3-6, 7-5, 10-5 victory over Sonya Kumar.
