Bobcat Skiers 14th at NCAA Championships

Pia Rivelsrud of Denver won the individual title with a two-run time of 1:22.80. MSU freshman Smaranda Munteanu was disqualified from competition after the first run.
The University of New Mexico took over the team title chase with 488 points. The Lobos are followed in the top five by Utah 457.5, Denver 455, Vermont 423 and 396.5. MSU has a three-day total of 95 points.
The NCAA Skiing Championships will conclude on Saturday with the men’s and women’s nordic classical race. Emily Robins and Chris Coe will compete for the Bobcats on Saturday morning.
