Burrows Notches 1,000th Point, But ‘Cats Fall to Lady Griz

Montana (21-4, 10-0) remained perfect in league play by shooting 52 percent from the field, while holding the Bobcats to 33 percent. The Lady Griz were paced by Katie Edwards with a team-high 16 points, while Juliann Keller and Crystal Baird each added 14 and Jody McLeod chipped in 11. In addition, Keller paced UM under the boards with a team-high 12 rebounds.
Montana State (10-13, 2-8) was paced in the loss by Sheila Hutchison with 17 points, while Burrows ended with 12 points and a team-high ten rebounds. Also in double-digits for MSU was freshman Whitney Connolly with ten points.
MSU will be at Northern Arizona next Thursday night.
