Bobcat Women Host Rocky Mountain

MSU enters Friday’s game with a 4-3 overall mark. The Bobcats are playing their sixth contest as part of a program record-breaking seven game homestand. Montana State is 3-2 during the current homestand. The Bobcats will conclude the home stretch when they host Texas State on Dec. 20.
Last Tuesday, the Bobcats saw a nine-point second-half lead slip away. Portland recorded nine unanswered points with three-minutes remaining in overtime to secure the victory.
MSU was paced in the loss by Hillary Scott with 20 points, while Kati Burrows and Scotta Morton added 14 points, apiece. Bobcat senior Briana Fields came off the bench to record her first career double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.
On the season, Burrows leads the Bobcats averaging a team-best 15.7 points and 7.0 rebounds. Also averaging double-figures in scoring are Morton and Scott at 13.0 and 12.0 points, respectively.
Rocky Mountain is currently 2-8 overall, after defeating Johnson and Wales 86-46, last Friday. The Bears are led by Jenny Balgua and Gretchen Wall, who are averaging 12.2 points and 10.5 points, respectively.
Montana State leads the all-time series 8-0 and won the last meeting between the two squads on Dec. 14, 2002, 74-44.
