A Bozeman native, Burrows converted eight-of-13 from the floor and went four-of-four from the free throw line. In addition, she added a game-high eight rebounds, along with four steals and two assists.
Also hitting double-figures for Montana State (4-2) was Scotta Morton 17, Brandie Buckless 15 and Hillary Scott 14. Morton ended the game five-of-nine from three-point range, while Buckless and Jaimey Tanner each tallied three treys.
The Bobcats established a new school with 15 three-pointers.
“It was a game where we got everyone involved,” said MSU interim head coach Greg Kudrna. “It was important to get our younger kids in the game and gain experience. Everyone is getting better with each outing and its nice to see us gain some confidence.”
For the game, MSU shot 51 percent from the field, while going 15-of-30 from three-point range. The Bobcats also went nine-of-nine from the line.
Montana Tech (6-7) was paced by Letty Powell with 15 points and five rebounds.
MSU will host Portland on Tuesday night in Worthington Arena.
