Utah Valley State guard Ronnie Price scored 35 points to lead the Wolverines to an 80-60 win over MSU in Orem on Thursday.
Montana State kept the game close for about 30 minutes, paced by center Al Beye. The junior from Senegal, playing in just his second game, scored 14 points, grabbed nine boards, and blocked four shots. MSU's four leading scoreres, Branden Miller, Nick Dissly, Ja'Ron Jefferson, and Marvin Moss, combined to shoot just 8-for-24.
Turnovers marked the key to the game. MSU turned the ball over 17 times, while Utah Valley State gave it away just five times. The game was MSU's fourth in seven days.
