For the third straight season Dave Cowan will handle play-by-play duties of ALL regular and postseason Bobcat games on 103.5 KZMY-FM. Cowan will begin his broadcast with a pre-game show 20-minutes prior to tip-off.

MSU will play its final contest of a record-breaking seven-game homestand on Monday night against Texas State. Heading into the game the Bobcats have posted a 4-2 mark in Worthington Arena. Following Monday’s contest, the Bobcats will venture out on a seven-game road trip, which begins at No.9 Baylor on Dec. 29 and culminates at Northern Arizona, Jan. 22.

Montana State is currently ranked first in the Big Sky Conference in scoring offense (68.4 ppg), scoring margin (+6.0), three-point field-goal percentage (.387), three-point field-goals made (8.12) and assists (17.88)...freshman redshirt Lori Jo Neubauer, a 5-foot-6 guard from Wolf Point, has left the team.
The Scouting Report:
Texas State, the institution formerly known as Southwest Texas State, is 3-5 overall pending its outcome at Rice on Friday, Dec. 17. The Bobcats have notched victories over Cleveland State, Prairie View A&M and Texas Pan American. Texas State has been paced this season by Tori Talbert and Tamara Thompson, who average 19.9 and 11.7 points, respectively. Talbert, a 6-2 center, also leads the team in rebounding at 9.3 boards per game. The two Bobcat squads met for the first time last season with Montana State winning 85-70 in San Marcos, Texas.
Montana State Player of the Week:
Senior Kati Burrows was named Montana State Player of the Week after averaging 18 points and 8.5 rebounds per game as the Bobcats dropped an overtime decision to Portland, before rebounding with an eleven-point victory over Rocky Mountain College. Burrows notched her totals while averaging only 19 minutes per game. In the two games, the Bozeman native shot 61 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free throw line. In addition, she added three steals and an assist.
