Scott and Burrows Pace Bobcats in Exhibition Win

Scott went nine-of-13 from the field, including a four-of-five effort from the free throw line. In the second half, the guard from West Jordan, Utah, notched 18 points on seven-of-eight from the floor.
Burrows, a native of Bozeman, notched a double-double as she added a game-high ten rebounds. For the game, she tallied nine-of-14 from the field.
“We expect Kati to have that kind of output day-in and day-out,” said Bobcat head coach Greg Kudrna. “Hillary is an outstanding player and those are the type of numbers that we’re going to need from her.”
Also contributing to the Bobcat attack was sophomore Whitney Connolly, who finished with nine points on three-of-three from three-point territory.
For the game, the Bobcats shot 56 percent from the field, including a 58 percent effort in the first stanza. MSU also held a narrow 38-35 advantage in rebounding.
Baden Sports was paced in the loss by former Washington State standout Kristin Erickson, who ended with a team-high 17 points.
MSU will play Air Force in the Falcon Classic this weekend. Also competing will be Louisiana-Lafayette and UC-Davis.
