Zanto Named Big Sky Player of the Week

Megan Zanto led Montana State to an undefeated weekend to help the Bobcats secure second place in the league standings. The native of Helena, Mont., averaged 4.50 kills and 1.50 blocks, while hitting an impressive .490 from the field as the Bobcats swept both Weber State and Idaho State.
Against Weber State, Zanto notched 11 kills, a .476 attack mark and two blocks. The following night, the junior backed it up with 16 kills and .500 attack mark. She also notched seven blocks against the Bengals.
With a total of 372 career block assists, Zanto is now third all-time at MSU and 16th in Big Sky Conference history.
Zanto shares the award with Eastern Washington’s Lizzy Mellor.
