Kudrna Era Begins Saturday for Montana State Women’s Basketball

Kudrna, who took over the Montana State women’s program after the conclusion of the 2003-04 season, welcomes back seven letterwinners, including two starters.
Leading this season’s Bobcat contingent will be first-team All-Big Sky selection Kati Burrows. Burrows, a senior from Bozeman, led the ‘Cats in scoring and rebounding last year, averaging 14.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.
The Bobcats will officially open their season with a one-hour scrimmage. The scrimmage is free and open to the public.
“As a staff, we want to get a good look at what we have,” Kudrna said. “We’ve done a lot of individual work, but this scrimmage will give us a feel for what we have as a unit, and how each player gets up and down the court.”
The Bobcats will open their season with an exhibition game on Nov. 8.
