Bobcat Boulevard Debuts Saturday
9/3/2003 12:00:00 AM | Football
The debut of Bobcat Boulevard will highlight the activities and atmosphere as the Bobcat football team makes its first appearance in Bozeman since beating the Grizzlies and winning the Big Sky Championship last November.
Bobcat Boulevard, the stretch of Kagy Boulevard from 11th to 8th streets in front of Bobcat Stadium, will open at 10:30 Saturday morning. Vendors, including Santa Fe Red's, LaParilla, Papa John's Pizza, The Rib and Chop House of Livingston, and Kettle Korn, will offer a variety of food for sale, and Bobcat Game Day Headquarters, the large tent outside the stadium, will feature beverages.
Saturday's game is Gallatin Valley Kid's Day and Gallatin Valley Newcomers Day, and also marks the new 5th Quarter, which this year begins shortly after the end of the game in the Game Day Headquarters tent. Bobcat coach Mike Kramer, assistant coaches, and Bobcat players will be on hand for interviews and to answer questions.
In order to accommodate Bobcat Boulevard, Kagy Boulevard will be closed from 8 am until after the game to traffic between 11th and 8th. Traffic will be routed through campus.
