Montana State Men’s Tennis Squad Fares Well at BYU

Ueltschi, a native of Mendoza, Argentina, advanced to the semifinals with notable victories over James Ludlow of Boise State and Nick Couts of Utah. Gebicki, a native of Lodz, Poland, captured the tournament’s consolation title with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over Hannes Scheak of Utah State.
“A lot of our guys really had a solid weekend,” said MSU head coach Mike Phillips. “Ueltschi and Gebicki won some tough matches. Gebicki showed a lot of heart in his final match and pulled-off a great win.”
MSU will be at the All-American Invitational, Oct. 3 in Chattanooga, Tenn.
