* * * COMINGS AND GOINGS * * *
The Bobcats were missing a couple of key components to the offensive line when camp opened on Monday. Starting guard Mataio Toilolo and center Lawrence Figueroa were stranded in California with car troubles. They are expected back in Bozeman on Tuesday. Kramer also announce that three players -- receiver Kellen Alley, cornerback Kory Austin, and running back Michael Williams -- will serve two-game suspensions for breaking team rules to begin the season. Those three will practice with the team. Receiver Ricky Gatewood is also under suspension, and is not being allowed to practice. David Mayfield is absent from camp, finishing academic responsibilities at a junior college in California.
* * * GROUND GAME GRUMBLINGS * * *
With sophomore Michael Williams unavailable for the first two games and classmate David Mayfield not expected back until August 15, redshirt freshman Jimmy Beal and Cal State Northridge transfer Bruce Molock will handle primary running back duties. Molock is awaiting approval of his eligibility from the NCAA. True freshmen Dan McInerny, Chase Isle, and Zach Wermers are also in camp.
