Bobcat Camp Report
Monday - Day EIGHT
* * * ROOSEVELT REVIVAL * * *
Receiver Brandon Roosevelt made his return to camp Monday afternoon, and looked good. “Brandon moved very well,” Kramer said of the redshirt freshman who had missed the last few days with a leg injury. “He is a guy who can stretch the defense. He’s an important player for us.”
Roosevelt ran well, and gives the Bobcats five varsity-level receivers. He and Eddie Sullivan will man the X position, while Scott Turnquist plays the slot and Corey Smith plays Z. Redshirt freshman Kellen Alley will also play Z.

Redshirt defensive end Clive Lowe made his camp debut to high praise on Monday.
“Clive is up and running, and looks really good,” said MSU coach Mike Kramer. “He missed a lot so he has some catching up to do, but he will definitely be a factor for us.”
Lowe spent the first week of camp waiting for eligibility technicalities to be ironed out. His presence gives MSU tremendous depth in the defensive front. “We have a very good situation,” Kramer said. “We’re without Chad Gluhm (leg injury), but Nick Barbero and Ryan Cogley are both having outstanding camps. With the addition of Clive, we have even more depth and flexibility.”
