Robins paces 'Cats at NCAA meet

Robins finished the course in 55:25.1. Utah’s Katrin Smigun, who has dominated the nation this winter, won her second individual crown of the championship with a time of 46:30.7.
Smigun’s effort has put the Utes in first place with 539 points, followed by New Mexico 439.5, and Colorado 424.5. Montana State sits in 18th overall with 20 points. Scores are based on a combined men’s and women’s point system. The Bobcats do not have a men’s varsity squad.
The NCAA Championships will conclude on Saturday. MSU’s Alex Munteanu and Andrea Drew will both compete in the slalom.
