Bobcats Spikers Top Rocky

Meggie Malyurek and Megan Zanto each tallied a match-high nine kills as the Montana State volleyball team cruised to a 30-13, 30-20, 30-12 victory over Rocky Mountain College, Tuesday night at Billings Skyview High School.
For the match, Montana State (16-8) hit .252 from the field, while holding the Bears to -.049. The Bobcats also out-blocked Rocky Mountain 14 to 4. Zanto and Kamber Kelly paced MSU with seven blocks apiece. Kelly also dished out 33 assists and added 12 digs. Malyurek paced all players with 14 digs.
Rocky Mountain was led by Katy Furlong with five kills, four blocks and two digs.
The Bobcats will play intra-state rival on Friday in Missoula.
