Bobcat Men Hand Idaho 71-65 Setback

Erickson converted on eight-of-13 from the field and was six-of-six from the free throw line. Dissly, a freshman from Bozeman, went four-of-six from the floor, including a three-of-four outing from three-point range.
Montana State (3-1) built a comfortable 34-16 advantage at the 3:42 mark of the first stanza on an Erickson field-goal; however, the Vandals answered back a closed the gap to 38-32 at intermission.
In the second period, Idaho (1-3) overcame a nine-point deficit to take a 44-42 lead at the 13:50 mark on a Dwayne Williams basket. With the score tied at 44-all at the 10:19 mark, Dissly hit a crucial three-pointer and the Bobcats never relinquished the lead for the remainder of the game. MSU converted seven-of-11 free throws down the stretch to secure the victory.
MSU will play at the University of Denver on Wednesday.
