Sesler, a 5-foot-10 left-handed setter, will play for the Rancho Valley club squad this winter. Rancho Valley is one of the top three programs in the country and finished second at the Davis Festival, which is the nation’s premier club tournament.
“Brittni (Sesler) is going to be a great addition to our program,” Malauulu said. “She’s solid both academically and athletically. She has that inner drive, which any coach would love to see in an athlete.”
Sesler was a two-time all-conference first-team selection at Alta Loma. She was also named team most valuable player and was an Upland first-team all-tournament honoree. In addition, Sesler also garnered Rim of the World all-tournament first-team kudos as well as being named to the St. Joseph’s all-star team.
“Brittni expects to win and is not afraid of any challenge,” Malauulu said. “Our program has already made strides to being better next year with her signing. I’m excited that she’s becoming a Bobcat and can’t wait until she’s on campus with us next fall.”
As a student-athlete, Sesler ranks third in her class and is a three-year Peer Counselor. She is also a Press Enterprise Scholar, which is awarded to the top one percent in California.
