TEAM NOTES
• Montana State’s 2003 Homecoming game drew 13,527 on Saturday, the first non-Bobcat/Grizzly sellout in school history
• Montana State has lost its Homecoming game two years in a row, and three times in the last four seasons
• The Bobcats have now lost two straight and four of the last five to Idaho State
• MSU has now lost back-to-back home games for the first time since the 0-11 2000 season
• Montana State was -1 in turnover margin on Saturday, and are now 0-3 this season when the offense has more turnovers than the defense does takeaways
• Last year, MSU was +2 in turnover margin in its seven wins, -6 in its six losses. This year, the ‘Cats are -4 in the four losses, +6 in the two wins
• Idaho State piled up 331 yards against the Bobcats on Saturday, the first time an opponent has gained more than 300 yards in a game this season
• Montana State is 2-4 for the second year in a row
• Idaho State scored on the game’s opening drive yesterday, the first time that’s happened to MSU this year and the first time the Bengals have accomplished that this year
• The Bobcats have been outscored 38-18 in the first quarter this season, but have still not allowed a point in the third quarter
INDIVIDUAL NOTES/PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEES
OFFENSE: Brent Swaggert, OT, 6-4, 293, Sr, Buffalo, MN
OTHER NOTES: Scott Turnquist caught seven passes for 86 yards and a touchdown on Saturday. He has moved into 10th place in career receiving with 1,435 yards, and tied for eighth with 10 touchdowns, and is ninth with 99 catches… Bruce Molock rushed for 59 yards against Idaho State, and now has 392 rushing yards this season.
DEFENSE: Kane Ioane, SS, 5-11, 207, Sr, Billings, MT
Kane Ioane led the Bobcats with 12 tackles, including seven solos. He also intercepted a pass and broke up a pass.
OTHER NOTES: Kane Ioane intercepted a pass for the second straight game, giving him two this season and 11 for his career, which moves him into a ninth-place tie in school history for career interceptions… Ioane has returned his two interceptions a total of 91 yards… Clive Lowe had 1.5 tackles for loss on Saturday, giving him at least one tackle behind the line of scrimmage in every game this season… Lowe’s 3.5 sacks leads the Bobcat team this season.

OTHER NOTES: Nate Cook scored five points Saturday, giving him 144 in his career, eighth in school history… Travis Lulay punted five times for an average of 41.8 yards per kick. He also pinned ISU inside the 20 three times. Lulay has punted six times for a 41.5 yard average this season.
