Latovic Earns POW Honors

win of the Big Sky season last Saturday at Idaho State, has been named the league's Player ofthe Week. It is Latovic's first such honor of the season.
Latovic scored 23 points, grabbed four rebounds, and added a block and two steals in MSU'swin. Latovic turned the game around in the second half. With MSU trailing by three at 13:54 ofthe second half, Latovic hit two free throws, scored on a layup, hit two more free throws, thenscored on another layup to give the 'Cats a 48-45 lead, their first since the 15:35 mark of thefirst half.
Then, with just under six minutes to play, he hit back-to-back three-pointers, each of whichanswered a Bengal three-pointer, and which helped MSU maintain a six-point lead. Latovicspearheaded MSU's second-half comeback with 5-for-6 shooting from the field and a 5-for-5effort from the line.
The Bobcats host Northern Arizona and Sacramento State this weekend.
