MSU Lands Two Prep Standouts

national letters-of-intent to join the Montana State women’s golf team next fall. KylieAnderson of Great Falls High and Kylee Seefried from Spokane will each compete for theBobcats, MSU coach Dan Davies has announced.
Seefried finished 12th in the Washington State 4A Golf Tournament as a junior last spring, and
she earned first team All-City honors in Spokane. Seefried is coached at Ferris High by Susan
Prugh, the mother of former MSU all-conference golfer Hillary Prugh, and is the grandaughter
of former MSU assistant football coach and long-time college athletics administrator Sam
Jankovich. She played on three straight 4A Championship golf teams at Ferris High.
"Kylie has good length and is a strong player," Davies said. "She needs to continue to develop
her short game, but she has a lot of ability and will be a good fit in our program."
Anderson, the youngest woman to win the Meadowlark Club championship in Great Falls, has
been one of the top junior performers in the state. She finished fifth at the Montana Women’s
State Amateur last summer, and her round of 73 is a Meadowlark record for her age group.
She won three tournaments and had eight top five finishes last summer.
"Kylie will be a great addition to our program," said MSU women’s golf coach Dan Davies. "She has had good junior golf and high school careers and I look forward to her developing hergame at the college level. She is an excellent student and she should challenge to be in theline-up next season."
