McDonald Earns Academic Honor

named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-Scholar Team, MSU coach Dan Daviesannounced Friday.
The award signifies outstanding academic and athletic achievement by McDonald, a junior
from Bozeman. McDonald earned Academic All-Big Sky honors as a freshman and
sophomore, as well.
McDonald finished as an All-Big Sky golfer as a sophomore, and is one of the top returning
players in the league this spring. The accounting major has maintained a 3.96 grade point
average (out of 4.0), has run a Get-A-Girl-Golfing clinic, and is active in Befrienders, an
organization which assists shut-in elderly people.
