program next spring, Bobcat coach Dan Davies announced on Wednesday afternoon. She
joins her sister Shannon on the MSU golf team.
McDonald won the Montana Class AA Golf Championship as a sophomore in 1999, and
finished second last spring. She won seven of her 14 high school or junior competitions lastyear, and has won a dozen tournaments in her career. Her victories last year included theMontana All-Star Invitational in Bozeman, the Montana State Junior Championship DistrictQualifier at Dillon, the Montana State Junior Championship in Helena, and the Four RiversJunior Finale in Big Sky.
"We’re excited to add another Bozeman High player, and another McDonald, to theprogram," Davies said. "Megan plays a great summer schedule, and that has allowed her todevelop her game to its current high level. She has the talent to make our lineup next year as afreshman. She’s a quality student and a great competitor."
McDonald’s low round is a 73 at Bill Roberts Golf Course in Helena.
