Austin Ybarra, who played football at Carroll College, begins his first season as an analyst with the Bobcat program with responsibilities for outside linebackers. He comes to MSU after a season in a similar role at Idaho, where he worked with current Bobcat linebackers coach Bobby Daly. At UI he worked with First Team All-Big Sky linebacker Kaden Elliss and third team selection Christian Elliss. The Fullerton, California product played at Santa Ana College in 2012 and at Carroll the next two seasons. He was part of the Saints’ 2014 Frontier Conference title team, then coached at Helena Capital from 2015-17.
