
Bussey and Perry Hit Career Highs as Bobcat Women Cage Tigers

Katie Bussey scored 30 points and Erica Perry added 28 as the Bobcats rolled to a 91-79 win over Pacific on Sunday afternoon.
Bussey, the 2008-09 Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year, posted 30 points, connecting on 12-of-20 from the field, including a six-of-eight effort from beyond the three-point arc. She also finished with two rebounds, an assist and a steal.
“Katie was phenomenal,” said fifth-year head coach Tricia Binford. “She really got us going in the first half, and was tough to stop all game long.”

“Along with Katie, Erica really came to play,” Binford said. “It is nice for our upperclassmen to step-up as it takes some pressure off of the newcomers.”
Also hitting double-figure for the second consecutive game was junior college transfer Beata Bak. Bak recorded ten points, two blocks and two steals.
