The Montana State women's basketball squad will open its 2009-10 home season when it hosts BYU on Friday night.
Montana State’s Katie Bussey has earned the first Big Sky Player of the Week honors of the 2009-10 season. She was awarded for games played the week of November 10-17.
Montana State’s Katie Bussey and Erica Perry each recorded career highs, combining for 58 points as the Bobcats defeated Pacific 91-79, Sunday afternoon in the Alex G. Spanos Center.

Patrick Casey garnered All-Mountain Region honors placing 21st at the Mountain Region meet Saturday. He is the first Bobcat since 2005 to place in the top 25 at the meet.

Women's Basketball
Bussey, the 2008-09 Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year, posted 30 points, connecting on 12-of-20 from the field, including a six-of-eight effort from beyond the three-point arc. She also finished with two rebounds, an assist and a steal against Pacific Sunday.
