In his sixth season coaching Montana State’s secondary (secondary assistant presently, all defensive backs in 2020, cornerbacks in 2019, safeties 2017-18, and defensive intern in 2016), Kyle Risinger has coached several productive and well-decorated players while gaining recognition as an excellent technical coach. Safety Bryson McCabe earned Third Team All-Big Sky honors in 2017 and safeties Brayden Konkol and Jahque Alleyne each earned All-Big Sky Honorable Mention honors in 2018. Risinger worked as a Bobcat defensive intern in 2016 after one season as a graduate assistant at Indiana State in 2015. He finished an outstanding career at St. Cloud State in 2014, where he was an All-Northern Sun Honorable Mention selection as a senior. Risinger logged 200 total tackles in his three-year career at SCSU, nabbed eight interceptions, and his 15 career pass breakups remains among the top 10 marks in Huskies history. An outstanding athlete from originally from Minnetonka, Minn., Risinger played basketball at Minnesota-Crookston in 2009-10.
