Bio
Montana State (2021) Team captain... played in eight games, completing 15 of his 33 passes for 186 yards (two TDs, one interception)... saw his only extensive action of the season after starting quarterback Tommy Mellott was injured early in the FCS Championship Game, throwing for 156 yards (13-for-28, one TD, one interception) and rushing for 51 (eight carries)... lauded throughout the season for his leadership and tutelage of younger players. (2019) Took the reins of the offense against Norfolk State and started the last 12 games at quarterback... finished the season throwing for 1,969 yards on 172-for-279 passing (.616)... 15 touchdowns, five interceptions... produced his finest moment through his first two seasons as a Bobcat in the FCS Playoffs opener against UAlbany, throwing for 279 yards on 24-for-30 passing with three touchdowns and no interceptions... averaged 181.0 yards per game on 50-for-72 (.694) with five touchdowns and one interception... completed a season-long 51-yard pass against Cal Poly... threw for threw for 262 yards against Sacramento State, 221 against Norfolk State. (2018) A promising freshman season was derailed after week five by a season-ending injury suffered during practice... threw for 584 yards in five games on 42-for-68 (.618) passing with four touchdowns and two interceptions... made his Bobcat debut by throwing for 164 yards at nationally-ranked South Dakota State. (2017) Redshirted.
High School Led Mountain View to 2016 Idaho Class 5A State Championship... two-time First Team All-State... threw for 5,459 yards and 69 touchdowns in his career, compiling a 22-3 record as starting quarterback... three-time Academic All-Conference and a three-time qualifier for the Idaho 5A State Track Championships... set nine school records.
