Bio
Montana State (2021) Played in 12 games as a reserve linebacker and special teams standout, missing the missing the Wyoming, EWU and SDSU games... recorded two solo tackles against San Diego, and single tackles against UNC and UM. (2019) Emerged as a special teams staple, playing in all 15 games... made the game-opening tackle in the Cat-Griz game that set UM deep in its own territory and led to a fumble on the first play of the game... also logged a tackle in the Playoff game against UAlbany. (2018) Redshirted at MSU... a productive fall landed him the Young Gun Award for hard work, productivity.
High School Class AA First Team All-State defensive end as a senior... led the state in sacks (11) and tackles-for-loss in 2017... logged 70 solo tackles with 43 assists as a senior.
Academics and Personal Enrolled in business... born Jory Jeffery Choate in Couer d’Alene, Idaho, in 2000... one of two children of Jeff and Janet Choate... has worked painting houses in Bozeman during summer months... his father Jeff played football at Western Montana College.
