Montana State (2017) A 2017 team captain... enters the season as a starting safety. (2016) Started all 11 games, leading the team in pass breakups (nine) and finishing third in tackles (75)... earned Second Team All-Big Sky honors... logged 10 solo tackles against Eastern Washington, with a forced fumble... picked off a Bryant pass, returning it 24 yards, and broke up another... broke up two passes against both Sac State and NAU... forced a team-high three fumbles, which in addition to EWU came against Idaho and North Dakota. (2015) Played in six games, including the last five... missed five early-season games with an injury... logged 27 tackles, and broke up five passes... career-high seven tackles against Idaho State, with three passes broken up.
Iowa Western Recorded 59 tackles, including 4.5 for loss with one sack, at Iowa Western in 2014... intercepted two passes and broke up one.
South Dakota State Redshirted at SDSU in 2013.
High School Helped lead Spirit Lake to Class 2A Iowa State Championship in 2012... first team all-state at defensive back, logging 75 tackles as a senior and five picks over his final two seasons... also rushed for 497 yards as a running back while averaging 25.5 yards per kick return and 21.8 yards per punt return... three-time first-team all-district selection ... also lettered in track and field, competing at both the Drake Relays and Iowa state meet multiple times ... honor roll student and recipient of Kinship Academic Mentoring Award.
