Montana State (Career) His eight fumbles forced in his career is tied for 1st in MSU history, and his four fumbles recovered is tied for 8th... his 35 career tackles-for-loss is 15 from cracking the Big Sky career list in that category. (2017) Enters the fall as MSU’s starting Sam linebacker, but he possesses positional flexibility within the linebacker corps... Preseason STATS FCS All-America and All-Big Sky... has started 22 straight games for the Cats. (2016) Second Team All-Big Sky, starting all 11 games and leading the Cats in with 97 tackles... his 3.5 tackles-per-game was 7th in the Big Sky and his 1.32 tackles-for-loss per game stood 3rd... recorded 15 tackles, two for a loss, against Eastern Washington, and reached double-digits in that category in five games... Preseason All-Big Sky selection. High School Earned Class C Eight-Man All-State honors as a senior, throwing for 1,053 yards (85-149-3 with 9 TDs) and rushing for 1,540 yards on 266 carries with 44 touchdowns… 197 tackles with 10 interceptions and three fumble recoveries as a senior.

Personal Born Maclane Bignell on May 12, 1994… the son of Joe and Patti Bignell… the brother of Bobcat defensive lineman Nate Bignell and son of former MSU All-America tight end… cousins Clay and Brian each starred on the MSU defense.
