Montana State (2013) Preseason All-Big Sky… ranks first in career sacks among all active FCS players with 18.0 total (0.8 per game)… voted team captain by his teammates during the spring. (2012) Earned Second Team All-Big Sky honors after a 5.5 sack season… started 12 of MSU’s 13 games, missing the Stephen F. Austin game with an injury… slowed throughout the middle portion of the season by a nagging injury… in the season’s final three games, logged a cumulative 20 tackles, four for a loss, with 1.5 sacks… recovered a key fumble against Stony Brook… seven tackles and 1.5 sacks against Eastern Washington. (2011) Returned to MSU after a one-year hiatus, posting one of the spectacular seasons in the Big Sky in 2011… led the league in sacks, earning Second Team All-Big Sky honors… his 12.5 sacks comprised nearly half of his season tackles total, and he also registered seven quarterback hurries and forced two fumbles… earned Big Sky Player of the Week honors twice (NAU, Weber State). (2010) Was not enrolled at MSU. (2009) Registered 10 tackles, including two sacks, as a true freshman… transitioned from linebacker to end as injuries ravaged MSU’s defensive front throughout the season, averaging 2.5 tackles over the final six games in increasing game action.
