Montana State (This Year) The Big Sky’s top returning punter, enters the season as MSU’s starter... blends roll-style punting with conventional technique to great effect. (2014) Finished third in the Big Sky in punting, and has been among the national leaders most of the season... helped MSU lead the nation in net punting... CFPA’s National Punter of the Week after Central Arkansas game... rushed for a first down from punt formation vs. A-State. (2013) Had an outstanding season as MSU’s roll punt specialist… punted 17 times, averaging 34.6 yards a punt… he induced three fair catches and pinned the opponent inside the 20 12 times. (2012) Emerged as the team’s roll punt specialist… punted 14 times for a 35.6 yard average… eight of his punts pinned the opponent inside the 20… handled place-kicking duties in the opener, converting three of his five PATs. (2011) Redshirted at MSU.
High School A two-time all-state punter, first team as a junior and second team as a senior… earned second team all-state kicker honors as a senior… also honorable mention all-state receiver as a senior.

Personal Born Trevor Thomas Bolton on March 8, 1992 in Great Falls… one of three children of Pat and Renae Bolton… his father is a Bobcat Hall of Fame kicker, holding MSU’s scoring records for nearly three decades, and brother Tyler Bolton played for the Bobcats… former prep teammates include MSU’s Lee Perkins and Trace Timmer, and UM’s Ty Timmer.
