Montana State (This Year) Seasoned signal caller and punter... adds depth and a specific, positive skill set in each role. (2014) Reserve quarterback who started the final two regular season games, leading Cats to a Playoffs-clinching win over Idaho State, throwing for 301 yards and extending his string of at least that many in each of his career starts... threw for 145 yards with five interceptions in the Cat-Griz game... boomed a 52-yard punt against UC Davis. (2013) Played in six games, starting two when DeNarius McGhee was injured… became the first Bobcat to throw for back-to-back 300 yard games in his first two starts, finishing the year with 733 yards passing… threw for 305 yards against Mesa and 308 vs. Stephen F. Austin… he was also 9-for-11 for 77 yards against North Dakota. (2012) Played in five games, completing three of four passes… threw for 18 yards… named the Tom Parac Most Improved Offensive Player in the spring... (2011) Named MSU’s top offensive scout for 2011 as a redshirt.
High School Punctuated an up-and-down high school career with 2009 Class AA Offensive MVP honors as a junior… struggled with injuries as a senior in 2010, landing honorable mention all-state honors… threw for over 4,900 yards and 45 touchdowns combined as a junior and senior with over 600 rushing yards.

Personal Born Jake Peter Bleskin on July 17, 1992 in Great Falls… one of two children of Dan and Peggy Bleskin… his brother Tanner was a standout Bobcat receiver… his father and uncle Dave Bleskin played football at Carroll… former prep teammates include Stanford basketball standout Josh Heustis, with whom he helped lead to a state AA basketball title in 2010… also won state in football that year… a three-year standout for the Great Falls Stallions American Legion baseball team.
