MSU Stands in Fourth Place at Denver Invitational After Day 2

Cats finish Giant Slalom

(Jan. 14, 2026) – Montana State moved from into fourth place during the giant slalom on Day Two of the 2026 Denver Invitational at Aspen, Colorado on Wednesday.

In the men's competition at the Aspen Highlands Ski Resort, MSU's Gianluca Boehm finished 10^th with a two-run time of 2:02.13. Will Steed finished 18^th (2:03.10), Loic Spiegelberg was 21^st (2:03.19), Torius Hepsoee was 25^th (2:03.42), Ian Hauot was 32^nd (2:04.81) and Luc Dalton was 35^th (2:05.75).

Tea Kiesel led the MSU women's contingent again, finishing 11^th in the GS at 2:04.00. Lily Sewell finished 14^th (2:04.32), Solveig Groenningsaeter was 20^th (2:04.60), Zoe Gray was 28^th (2:07.24), Mackenzie Greenslade was 30^th (2:08.57), and Victoria Clancy was 31^st (2:09.12).

The Denver Invitational continues on February 7-8 with the men's 10K and women's 7.5K Nordic competition.
