Bobcats offense, defense likely to receive challenges to some impressive numbers against FCS foes
BOZEMAN, Mont. (Sept. 27, 2025) – Montana State looks to extend history today in Bobcat Stadium. The Cats have claimed four straight wins in their series with Eastern Washington, MSU's longest winning streak against the Eagles.

There are not two-deep changes for Montana State today.

Through four games, Montana State has recorded one interception. The Bobcats had snared one errant pass in the first four games of 2024 (it came in game three), then logged one in the conference opener and finished with seven against Big Sky opponents.

Legendary Bobcat athletic trainer Chuck Karnop celebrated his 85th birthday at Bobcat Stadium on Saturday. We're told that Chooch still has a story about everything and an opinion about almost everything, but is carrying on with his usual good cheer.

Montana State's rushing total has increased each game in 2025 – from 46 vs. Oregon to 210 vs. South Dakota State to 217 against San Diego to 233 against Mercyhurst last week.

The Bobcat defense has held the team's three FCS opponents to less than 300 total yards. Those teams averaged just 12.3 points and 256.3 yards per game.
