Bobcat fans may submit design concepts for Gold Rush T-Shirt
BOZEMAN, Mont. – Montana State University's annual Gold Rush celebration officially begins on March 31, 2025, when the logo design contest for this year's t-shirt officially opens.
The contest to design the winning logo is open to the public and is decided by a public vote on social media. The winner will be announced this summer, with t-shirts available for purchase at the MSU Bookstore and Universal Athletic. The contest winner receives $500, four tickets to this year's Gold Rush game, and on-field recognition during the Bobcats' season opener.
To be considered, contest entrants must follow these guidelines: the words "Gold Rush 2025" must be clearly distinguished in the design, the full color Bobcat logo must be used in the official colors of MSU Blue PMS 281 and Spirit Gold PMS 465 without alterations to its original forms such as textured fills or distressed effects, the logo must be on a clear field with no patterns or effects behind it, it may feature up to four colors for use on a gold shirt, and should have a 300-dpi resolution submitted as a vector Illustrator file (EPS) and a pdf. One submission per person is permitted.
Submissions are due by 5 pm MT on April 25, 2025, by email to promotions@msubobcats.com. Voting runs from April 30 through May 4 on Bobcat Athletics social media channels. The winning designed is determined on May 5 and announced in August.
