Transfer Nishant Dabas paces MSU at Dar Walters Invitational

Newcomer Nishant Dabas won three of his four singles matches and teamed with Dmitry Bezborodov to capture two of four doubles matches at the 2024 Dar Walters Invitational at Boise State last weekend.

All four Bobcats won at least one singles match, and first-year head coach Mateus Ceolin liked much of what he saw in the three-day event at Boise State. "It was a good start," the former Bobcat student-athlete and University of Arizona assistant coach said. "There was a lot to build on and a lot to improve on. But it was a good first weekend."

Bezborodov and returning sophomore Andre Stewart each won two singles matches. Harrison Janes, a grad transfer from Penn State, won one singles match in his four outings. Stewart and Janes combined to win three of their four doubles matches.

Montana State's fall season continues September 27-29 at the Air Force Academy.
