
Bobcat Women’s Tennis Program Finalizes 2021-22 Recruiting Class

Montana State Women’s Tennis Coach Jon Reeves has completed his 2021-22 recruiting class, announcing the addition of Marta Garcia-Reboredo to the program.
BOZEMAN, Mont. – Montana State Women's Tennis Coach Jon Reeves has completed his 2021-22 recruiting class, announcing the addition of Marta Garcia-Reboredo to the program. Garcia-Reboredo, a product of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, has been ranked as high as No. 48 in Spain.
"We are incredibly excited about the future of our Montana State women's tennis program," Reeves said. "Our recruiting class of 2021-22 will raise the daily level of our team."
Garcia-Reboredo prepped at Santa Teresa de Jesús de Las Palmas and captured regional junior titles over four consecutive seasons. At the national level, she reached the quarterfinals in singles and doubles at the 2018 and 2019 championships. Internationally, Garcia-Reboredo advanced to the quarterfinals in singles and doubles at the 2018 Apple Bowl in Asturias, Spain.
"Marta has consistently been one of Spain's top nationally ranked junior tennis players, and has achieved a Spanish women's ranking of 48," Reeves stated. "She is a tremendous addition to our team. Marta's competitiveness, success and experience are going to help push our team expectations to another level.
"Marta is as focused on her academic success as she is on her tennis goals," Reeves added. "She is planning on studying biotechnology. We are excited to get our new recruits on campus training together. This team is going to be incredibly fun to work with and watch compete."
Also in the 2021-22 class are Freia Lawrence of Palma De Mallorca, Balearics, Spain; Andrea Cuquerella of Xahua, Valencia, Spain; and Maria Villarejo of Madrid, Spain.
