A letter from Montana State Director of Athletics Leon Costello
Dear Bobcats,
This has been a historic week and we are so grateful for your support. The Bobcats ended defending national champion and current #1 Sam Houston's 22-game winning streak and home unbeaten streak during the playoffs. You also helped sellout Bobcat Stadium for the first time in our storied history during the playoffs. What a time to be a Bobcat!
In order to ensure your visit to Bobcat Stadium on Saturday is nothing but positive, we have a few items of note to share with you:
TICKETS
If you haven't already, download your tickets into your mobile wallet now. With 20,000 of our Bobcat friends in the same location, cell service may be spotty. Add your tickets to your wallet before you arrive to avoid any frustration. Students-if you claimed one of the free student tickets (courtesy of our very generous sponsors), please make sure you use it and be in Bobcat Stadium on Saturday- we need you!
LONG LINES EXPECTED
Gates for game open at 10:30am. With the capacity crowd and smaller staffs due to the holidays, we fully anticipate long lines. We need you in your seats for kickoff and recommend making your way into the stadium no later than 45 minutes before the start of the game.
CLEAR BAGS
As a reminder, we have a clear bag policy at Bobcat Stadium. Be sure to click here to review which bags are allowed; we don't want you waiting in line only to be sent back to your vehicle with a non-compliant bag.
BOBCAT PROWL
It's your last chance to see the 'Cats in the Bobcat Prowl this season! Be sure to line up along Bobcat Blvd to cheer on the team as they make their way to the stadium at 9:45am.
WE NEED YOU LOUD AND PROUD
Your 'Cats have earned this home game and home field advantage. The biggest part of that comes from you, our fans. We need you in your seats at kickoff and again at the very start of the third quarter. Let's show the Jackrabbits what the Bobcat Stadium experience is all about! That being said... let's not forget that good sportsmanship is a critical part of the experience at Bobcat Stadium. You can click here to review our 'Code of a Champion.'
SNOW
With over 8" of snow falling in Bozeman on Wednesday morning, we are doing our best to clear the snow from the stadium and parking lots. We know there may be locations where the snow cannot be completely cleared. If you have room in your vehicle, please bring a shovel to help us remove excess snow from your parking location.
It's always a great day to be a Bobcat and we can't wait to see you on Saturday!
