Letter From The AD: Cat-Griz Edition
11/21/2019 2:10:00 PM | General
Dear Bobcats,
The Brawl of the Wild is here! Montana State University and Bobcat Athletics are excited for the opportunity to host the best rivalry in the country on Saturday.
With this rivalry comes a responsibility to make the game safe and enjoyable for all. The Bobcat Code of a Champion was established to demonstrate our commitment to provide athletic events that are safe, clean, welcoming and enjoyable to all fans and hope it will be followed during this weekend's activities. The code is comprised of the following principles:
Don't forget, the Clear Bag Policy is still in effect. With cooler weather, I'd like to remind you that your coats and blankets do not need to fit inside your clear bags. Make sure to be prepared and get into the stadium early to avoid long lines.
Ahead of this weekend's Cat-Griz game, make sure you're helping us Can The Griz! This year marks the 20th year of the Can the Griz Food Drive. This food drive is a friendly, off-field competition between Montana State University and the University of Montana to see which school can collect the most donations for their local food bank. Let's continue to raise the record amount of donations by winning this great cause.
Saturday's game marks the final regular season game in Bobcat Stadium for 18 Bobcat seniors. I encourage you to enter Bobcat Stadium early to show your appreciation for the seniors and their families. Senior Day activities will start at approximately 11:30 a.m.
The Bobcat Prowl will begin at approximately 11:00 a.m. and will feature the Great Divide Trophy. Cheer on your Bobcats as they make their way to Bobcat Stadium.
If you do not have tickets to the game, we encourage you to attend a Cat/Griz Watch Party in your area. Click here to see all the watch party locations for this year's game. The game will be available for those across the northwest on ROOT Sports. If you are a DirecTV or Dish Network customer, you will be able to watch across the country depending on your subscription plan. Take a look at television and radio information here.
We have enjoyed another great season inside Bobcat Stadium and that is a testament to you, our fans. On Saturday, we need you to bring your A-game. I am looking forward to seeing everyone and experiencing the environment you will create.
Go Cats!

The Bobcat Code of a Champion was established to demonstrate our commitment to provide athletic events that are safe, clean, welcoming and enjoyable to all fans and hope it will be followed during this weekend's activities. The code is comprised of the following principles:
- We all represent Bobcats. Do so with class and displays of sportsmanship.
- Respect all staff, fans, officials, student-athletes and opposing teams.
- Cheer long and LOUD – in a respectful manner that avoids obscene or abusive language.
- Refrain from behaviors that are unruly or disruptive.
- Demonstrate responsible behavior when consuming alcoholic beverages.
- Respect all facility regulations and even staff personnel.
