A new event will give the public its first look at the Montana State basketball teams on Friday, Oct. 18, when Bobcat Athletics hosts Late Night at The Brick inside Worthington Arena.
The event gives the public an opportunity to see members of both the men's and women's basketball teams in person before the 2019-20 season tips off. Late Night at The Brick will be free admission and feature several different activities throughout the evening.
"We're excited to be creating a new event this year, combining our open scrimmages to create a special night of free family fun for our community," said Bethany Cordell, Associate Athletic Director. "The energy around both of our basketball programs right now has never been higher, and this is your opportunity to see them up close and personal before the season officially starts."
Doors open at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse at 5:30 p.m. and activities start with the MSU women's basketball team holding a scrimmage at 6 p.m. The Bobcat men's program will scrimmage following the women, with on-court activities taking place in between.
Activities during Late Night at The Brick include a skills competition, on court promotions and numerous giveaways including four season tickets to men's and women's basketball games during the 2019-20 season. There will be inflatables and games for kids and season tickets will be available to pick up for Bobcat fans.
Along with the coaching staffs and players for the Montana State men's and women's basketball teams, the Montana State Spirit Squad and Champ will be participating.
