Kathleen (McLaughlin) Howard
Woman’s Basketball ‘86
Kathleen (Mclaughlin) Howard is arguably MSU’s best-ever women’s basketball player. During her outstanding career, which lasted from 1982-86, she scored 1,761 points and grabbed 990 rebounds, both of which remain the best marks in school history. She was a three-time All-Mountain West Conference selection, and was an All-America honorable mention choice as a senior. Howard serves as a Montana State assistant coach last year, and has been a highly successful high school coach.
