
Bobcats Named Big Sky All-Academic

Fall Sports yields 26 that made the grade
The Big Sky Conference announced the 2012 Fall All-Academic Teams and 26 Bobcats made the grade for their efforts both on their respective playing field and in the classroom.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: participated in at least half of the team's competitions; achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the most recently completed term and completed at least one academic term at his/her current Big Sky institution.
Montana State fall sports saw tremendous success in 2012. Football advanced to the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffs, cross country competed at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships and volleyball qualified for the Big Sky Conference Tournament for the first time since 2005.
