On senior weekend, it was a Montana State freshman that sealed the victory in MSU’s first match of the weekend as the Bobcats downed Northern Colorado, 4-3, Friday afternoon in the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center.

Charlotta Hjalmarsson won a hard-fought three set decision 7-5, 2-6, 6-0 over Northern Colorado's Jenny Whateley to help the Bobcats improve to 4-3 in Big Sky Conference action and setup a showdown with
“This team is finding a way to get it done,” said MSU head coach Denise Albrecht. “It was big to capture the doubles point, and then get three of the next four to win the match. Charlotta did a super job of battling back after a second set loss.”
UNC captured Nos. 5 and 6 singles to close the final outcome to 4-3.
“The team has overcome a lot to be where they are today,” Albrecht said. “I'm proud of the way the have come together, and for us to be in a position to win a spot in the conference tournament is a testament to their perseverance.”
